Xtra wide leg pants / linen / naturally dyed / S/M

These pants are made from gorgeous vintage linen and are naturally dyed with cutch and iron. The dye is intentionally uneven; I enjoy the slightly mottled effect that can occur when the fabric isn’t agitated too much. (Colours may vary slightly due to lighting.)

They have an elasticated waist to accommodate varying measurements and can be worn high waisted or lower on the hips.

Note on natural dyes: Natural dyes are often described as “living colour.” They have a charm and personality very different from chemical dyes, with a higher energetic vibration of life. This does mean that some colours may vary or fade over time. It is important to treat these pieces with love and care: keep them out of sunlight when not wearing them and wash them gently in cool water with pH-neutral soaps.

Please note that we use vintage fabric not only for its beautiful qualities but also because it already exists, avoiding the production of new material. This does mean that, despite the utmost care taken when choosing fabric, there may occasionally be minimal signs of age.

Most Billynou garments are made to order. This is important to our ethos, as it helps eliminate waste and unnecessary production. Bearing this in mind, please allow 2–3 weeks for your garment to be processed. This is an estimate; in practice we endeavour to achieve a much faster production time. This processing time excludes naturally dyed garments and garments made with vintage fabric, which are listed only when available.

Items are shipped from France. If you are ordering from outside Europe, please make sure you know the customs rules of your country, as you may be charged import tax upon receiving your items. This is not part of the postage cost and is your responsibility to pay.
