Natural indigo / persicaria tinctoria / natural dye / blue
This item is available for shipping in Europe only.
Persicaria tinctoria or Japanese indigo is native to East Asia but this indigo has been lovingly grown in the British Isles in Guernsey on a small organic farm.
Indigo is different to other natural dyes and requires a vat to dye. Dipping cloth directly into the vat magically transforms your fabric to blue within minutes. A range of shades of blues can be achieved depending of fabric and number of dips.
You will also receive a cute indigo dye recipe card when you order this dye.
As a guide, 8–10 g indigo powder per 100 g fibre for deep shades with multiple dips.
This product is only available to Europe.
